Liam-isms : ABCs and more

Liam's at the age where he soaks ups things he learns from the environment and wanting to do things himself. He started off with singing "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" and "XPialidocious" (attempt at Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious) all the time to now singing the "ABCs".

Latest things he likes to say are "knucklehead"... he picked that up from *someone's* driving habit... and "Look, mommy, look!". I've really been enjoying him repeating over and over again "Look, momma, look!". I don't know where he picked up that saying, but I like that he constantly verbalizes that he wants my attention. It really reminds me to foster that sense of security that I am there for him. And that smile that he gives me when I do look is the best! I hope to catch it on camera before he moves on to the next catch-phrase. Once he sees the camera though, he stops all kind of activity, so not too easy to capture his cute little Liam-isms.

Afternoon Outside

A Sunday afternoon outside with a bike session. Liam's getting the hang of riding the "motorcycle".

And then a walk through the grove.

Emilia, the Big Sis

They don't always get along, but when they do, Emilia is definitely a natural at being a Big Sis to her lil' bro. She loves to feed him.

In other news, our camera broke over the weekend! Oh no. So.. hopefully we'll have a new camera all figured out and ready to go soon and be able to continue photo/video documentation of the kiddies.

Handstand Push-Ups... Not Quite

(Note: This is an old post that I never got a chance to finish. So here it is.)

What we do (rare occasionally) in our not-so-spare-time... You know, we do what we can to help influence our kiddies to have fun and maintain an active life. Doesn't every family have family time with wall climbs and handstand push-ups?

Ryan

Well... at least we have one in the family that can represent if we ever needed to do handstand push-ups.

Meet Frank

That is Ryan's current nickname for Liam... Frank. So, meet Frank. He is getting more and more stable every day, and as he does, he crawls less and less. It's exciting to see him progress, but at the same time, I'm going to miss the cuteness of the crawling stage.

Frank

This is one of my favorite stages, the in-between crawling and walking. He loves to walk and stumble right into my arms and squeals with delight. No sooner after that, he turns around to take off on another end-target goal to walk towards, the nearby table or chair or Ryan's leg.

Mobile Heaven

Emilia loves her mobiles. Here's a couple videos I took a week or so ago. Not sure what's up with the quality of the first one - both were done on the same camera.

Tai Chi Yoda

Baby Em has various wake-up routines. This one is the Tai Chi Yoda...

For reference, here's the real Yoda...

As you can see, I post up the corny videos and amateurish pics. Look for Connie's posts if you're looking for quality ;^)

Just Needs a Little Fine Tuning

In our down time, we like to play with baby.
