Farm Day Fun

One of local organic farms holds farm tours to the public a few times a year. It had a great itinerary with history/background of the farm, Q&A about organic farming methods, strawberry picking, and then a lunch made from the farm foods.

Actually more like strawberry eating time! Strawberries taste so good eaten right when they are picked!

She did get one "time out" disciplinary action during lunch time, and yes, everyone around witnessed this.

Kids had fun and we all had a few hours of doing something out of the ordinary and having an enjoyable way of teaching the kiddos about where our food comes from.
