Summer Days Fun

Summer vacation for the kiddos has begun!

We went to the faux-beach, where they played with the faux-beach toys...

They literally played for hours before water restrictions kicked in (aka 3 buckets of water later) and moved on to some suntanning and drying up time.

Then it was nap time... kids went down pretty quick. Buckets of water play and sun apparently does that to you.

The two kiddos are pretty inseparable. They always play together and come up with things that drive mama mad. They always fight too and push each others buttons.. A LOT. Regardless, they are still always together. Today, they both wanted to nap together, so I let them.

After nap, it was more outdoor fun.

And the day isn't over until there's some kind of dirt, sticks, leaves construction. Here's their summer time Xmas tree.

And some jungle gym.

The two of them entertain each other all the time. So it makes my job much easier. I don't even have to push them on the swing sometimes!



Once Ryan is done developing an even bigger, cooler play area for us... I foresee we will rarely leave home!

Touch A Truck

There was no Merry'Go'Round, so the kiddos decided to go ziplining instead...

Both kids thought it was fun, Emilia asked to go again! Though, I waited for 1.5 hours in line for their turn in the blazing sun.. so one round was enough.

This was a local charity event called "Touch A Truck" that was put on to raise money and awareness for childhood cancer. The event was catered for kids with all sorts of trucks, big rigs, old school autos, law enforcement vehicles, etc for kids to climb on, play with, and honk horns. So of course, we had to take the kiddies to check it out. The ziplining was one of the activities they had at the event.

luckily Emilia likes being in the passenger seat.

Met a few guys from the dark side. I wanted to take a photo with Boba Fett, but the kiddos were adamant to stay away from the dark side. Good kids!

Emilia's a little too happy to be locked away in the back of a police car.

Like daughter, like mother. At least Liam has a better sense thinking "Why am I not in the driver's seat?"

Fun day. Great event. For a good cause.

Oh Gross!!!!

I found this gem of a photo taken Oct, 2014.

It is still, to this day, occasionally what Emilia likes to do. She likes to give Liam kisses or hugs every so often to illicit a reaction from him, which is usually an "OH GROSS!!", wiping his face, and immediately laughing. Which makes her do it all over again.

The two of them are so cute and such trouble makers together. =)
